Files that are not PDFs yet are converted first — Word, spreadsheets, text and HTML through the built-in renderers, images as they are — then every page lands on one board. Auto layout gives photos the same page size as the document pages around them, so the result reads as one document rather than a stack of attachments.

Questions
Which formats can be combined?
PDF, JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC and other images, .docx, .xlsx/.xls/.csv/.ods, .txt/.md/.json/.log and .html. Legacy .doc and PowerPoint files need the optional LibreOffice engine, so convert those to PDF first.
What does Auto layout do?
Image pages are given the most common page size of the document pages in your selection, turned to match each image, so photos sit inside the document instead of changing its shape. With images only, it matches each page to its image or picks A4 when shapes vary.
Is anything uploaded?
No. Conversion, page rendering and the final PDF all happen in your browser.
