What to write about

Something does not work, or a result is wrong

Say which tool you used (the page address is enough), your browser and device, what you expected and what happened instead, and the exact wording of any message the page showed.

Please do not attach a confidential file. If one particular file causes the problem, describe it (its type, its size, the program that made it) or send a copy with nothing private in it.

Privacy questions and requests about your data

Ask anything about what FileBench collects, why and for how long, or make a request about personal data. There are no accounts, so nothing is filed under your name; the privacy page lists everything that is kept and when it is deleted.

A share link used for abuse

If a FileBench share link (an address that starts with helixmedia.biz/share/) is being used to pass on unlawful or harmful material, send the full link and say what is wrong with it. Shared copies are deleted automatically within 60 minutes of being uploaded, so please write as soon as you can.

A security issue

Write with “Security” in the subject line. Describe what is affected, the steps that show the problem and the impact you expect. Please do not open, change or delete anyone else's files, and do not run tests that slow the service down for other people; the terms of service forbid both.

There is no bug bounty. The address is also published in /.well-known/security.txt.

What to expect

Your message goes to Mohit himself, and he replies as time allows, so there is no promised response time. Messages in English are the easiest to answer. FileBench will never ask you for a password, including the password of a protected share link, so please never send one.
